An alumni of Army Cadet College Pune and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, with more than three decades of meritorious military service. As an infantry officer he participated in the Indo-Pak war of 1971 and counter-insurgency operations in Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir.
After superannuation from military service in 2006, he founded WISMA and has actively steered the agency into a position of distinction.

Should be an Indian Citizen.
Height not less than 168 cm and body weight not less than 54 kg.
Age between 18–35 years, relaxable by 10 years for Ex-servicemen (ESM).
Physically and medically fit — no visual, hearing or limb deformity.
Preferably matriculate, not less than 8th standard pass.
Read & write Hindi, local language and English alphabets.
Good character with police verification clearance.
